The City of Alpine is seeking candidates for the Municipal Court Judge position. The Judge presides over Municipal Court for all class C Misdemeanors, violations of City ordinances, jury trials and other cases appropriately tried in the Municipal Court. The City’s Municipal Court Judge is appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the City Council for a term of two (2) years running concurrent with the Mayor’s term, and works as an independent contractor. Interested candidates may submit questions or a resume to mayor.eaves@cityofalpine.com for consideration. The submission deadline is May 14th at 1:00 p.m.
