PUEBLO NUEVO PARK PROJECT UPDATES.
PUBLIC MEETING @ Pueblo Nuevo Park
Thursday, May 18th, 2023 at 5:30
Meeting will be held at the park site (corner of Hancock & Gallego) with the intent of deciding on play and exercise equipment that fits between the project's budget.
The following document was discussed at the Wednesday 4/26/23 Community Input meeting, held on-site at Pueblo Nuevo Park.
There will be one more Community Meeting to discuss the top-three ideas that came out of the 4/26 meeting regarding play equipment and exercise equipment options.
The next meeting will be mid-May, date still TBD.

Meeting will be held at the park site (corner of Hancock & Gallego) with the intent of discussing options for play and exercise equipment.
April 6, 2023 12:20 P.M.
DEVELOPMENT TIMELINE:
*Ground-breaking Ceremony held on 3/24/23
- Phase I- Earthwork and Concrete work
- Rough grading of the site done by City Staff to prep for concrete work.
- Existing evergreen trees to remain on-site.
- RFP's for concrete work submitted by 4/5/23.
- *Pending viable RFP submittals*, Selection of contractor approved by Council mid-May 2023
- Concrete work to be completed (walkways, concrete pads, sidewalk, curb)- approx 6 weeks.
- *Pending Stormwater Permit approval through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)*
- Earthwork-
- Concrete Work-
- Phase II- Once concrete work is completed:
- *Pending delivery of selected equipment*
- Playground, fitness, shade structures installed
- Phase III- Landscaping
- *Pending Phase I and Phase II completion*
- Landscaping (trees, limited sod, native plant areas, irrigation) completed by City staff.
